Join us for a fun and relaxing session at the ENNISMORE LIBRARY where you can design and paint your very own craft pumpkin using multi-surface acrylic paints. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking for a creative outlet, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels. Feel free to bring your own reference photos. All materials will be supplied.

Halloween Cookie Decorating Workshop Come try out your decorating skills at the BRIDGENORTH LIBRARY. Create spooky cookies using royal icing and candy embellishments. Our cookies and royal icing will be supplied by the Lakefield Pantry (gingerbread and sugar cookies). For nutrition and allergy information please check with the Lakefield Pantry directly.

Art Display Call for Entry |

The Bridgenorth Library is now inviting local artists to submit samples of their work for display. Submissions will be accepted from September 19 to October 31, and will be reviewed in November for display during 2025. We exhibit two-dimensional artwork including paintings, drawings, mixed media, photographs and prints. Community Anthology Project |

Do you have a story to tell? We want to hear it. The Selwyn Public Library is launching an exciting new project to collect and celebrate the unique voices of our community. Whether you’re an experienced writer or just starting out, this is your chance to be published in our Community Anthology. We're looking for short stories, poems, essays and other creative writings that have not yet been published elsewhere. Get published, contribute to a project that reflects the diversity and creativity of our community, and connect with fellow writers!

Lakefield Publishing Club |
| Selwyn Library is launching a new club with the goal of publishing a community anthology, highlighting our local writers, poets and storytellers. Members of publishing club will work behind the scenes on the creative direction of the published work, reviewing story submissions, and connecting with other local book lovers and storytellers. Members are able to submit their stories for consideration along with all other library patrons. Meetings will be held monthly from September 2024 to March 2025.

The Needlework Group with the Makerspace is a place and time to gather, work on independent projects, socialize, and support each other. Knitting, crochet, and cross-stich welcome. Take a Seed, Leave a Seed @ Ennismore Library |

Stop by Ennismore Library to pick up some seeds and resources to help you start growing your garden this spring! If you have extra seeds to share, leave them in a sealed and labelled envelope for others to enjoy. This program is offered in partnership with the Ennismore Garden Club to encourage community members to grown their own food and flowers, promote healthy eating and increase awareness of self-sustaining gardens.
