The Township of Selwyn is selling the house and attached garage located at 1670 Young’s Point Road. As part of the sale, the house and attached garage are to be removed from the property which is also to be coordinated by the successful bidder.

There is a site visit available for potential bidders. Please note that bidders must register in advance by emailing Jerry Jopling, Facilities Maintenance Coordinator or call 705-292-9507 ext. 226.

Closing Date

Sealed envelope, clearly marked as to contents will be received by the Township until December 2, 2024, at 11:59:59 am (according to the Administration lobby clock).

Tax Sales

If property taxes remain unpaid for three or more years, the Municipal Tax Sales Act provides for the sale of the property.

The Township offers an Arrears Management Pre-Authorized Payment Plan as an option to develop a property tax payment program that can help you keep your property out of a position of tax sale.
