Selwyn Township Lifts Significant Weather Event Declaration

Selwyn Township - The Township of Selwyn has officially lifted the Significant Weather Event declaration, effective Wednesday, April 3, 2025. After reviewing Environment Canada’s weather reports and assessing current road and sidewalk conditions, the Township has determined that weather conditions have improved sufficiently to meet the required maintenance objective timelines for roadways.

While the event has ended, residents are assured that Selwyn Township’s Public Works crew remains actively engaged in post-storm clean-up efforts. Crews continue to address the impacts of the recent ice storm by clearing debris and ensuring the safety of Township roadways and properties.
