Celebrate National Paddling Week 
with the Lakefield Trail Family Paddle Day!

Lakefield, ON (May 27, 2024) – Join the Lakefield Trail Stewardship Committee for the annual Family Paddle Day, a cherished tradition, taking place on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at Lakefield Beach. This event is a perfect way to celebrate National Paddling Week with friends and family.

Participants are welcome to bring their own canoes or kayaks or take advantage of the ones provided by Adventure Outfitters on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure availability, we recommend contacting Adventure Outfitters in advance at (705) 652-7986 to reserve your canoe or kayak.

After a serene paddle around Lake Katchawanooka and the Marsh, everyone is invited to enjoy a delightful evening by the bonfire. Savour hot dogs, marshmallows, and a special “Canoe Cake” baked by Jennie Mackenzie of the Lakefield Pantry.
